The dialogue was pretty clunky and the writing is basic, there were a lot of scenes that seemed unnecessarily long and drawn out, but when it does get to the juicy parts, it doesn’t disappoint. Not Adkins’ best work, but as always, he played his part spectacularly, always reminds us why he’s the gold standard for action and martial arts in cinema. I would recommend, but also urge to watch some of his other work that’s a little more solid, Accident Man and Debt Collector are good starters to go down the rabbit hole. Was hoping for something that stood out a little more, since the Hulu release can draw a lot of attention, but it is what it is.
